New OBD protocol for Bosch ZF8HP50 TCU – Alfa Romeo.

The ZF8HP50 designation identifies the automatic transmission installed on Alfa Romeo models from 2016 onwards. With KESS3 it is now possible to work on the Bosch ZF8HP50 TCU through an OBD connection, enabling direct, safe, and non-invasive programming of the transmission management.

For workshops, this means the ability to operate on gear-shift strategies and transmission software recovery while maintaining a fast and streamlined workflow on vehicles that are widely present in the current vehicle fleet.
