New OBD and BENCH management for Temic DQ381 GEN2 – DSG VAG.
- KESS3
- [post-views]
UPGRADE 3.33
DQ381 GEN2 TCUs are fitted to numerous Audi, Cupra, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen applications, with 1.4, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 TSI/TFSI and 1.6, 2.0 and 3.0 TDI engines from 2012 to today.
With this update, KESS3 introduces a dedicated workflow in OBD and BENCH (Patch) mode to manage TCU reprogramming with greater flexibility and control.
This management is designed to simplify work on one of the most widespread DSG transmissions in the global vehicle parc, while maintaining a controlled, clear and consistent process at every stage of the operation.
The real benefits for the workshop:
- Flexible OBD workflow with Patch in BENCH
- Fast, controlled operations on DSG TCUs
- Greater opportunities for automatic transmission upgrades
This new capability allows workshops to work on high-volume VAG platforms, from sporty compact cars to SUVs and high-performance models. On certain applications, combined ECU and TCU support also enables even more complete vehicle management, both on the engine side and on the transmission side.
