Starting today, working with KESS3 on Iveco Daily 2.3 and 3.0 Multijet and Multijet II is even faster and more efficient, thanks to the new OBD protocol for Bosch EDC17C49 control units.
This update completes the support already available in BENCH and BOOT modes, now offering OBD users the ability to operate directly through the diagnostic port, with no need to open or remove the ECU.

Minimize operation time and increase productivity on light commercial vehicles with high mileage and significant wear on electronic components, often stressed by intensive use.

Important Note:
To access and program in OBD mode, an initial gateway bypass procedure via patch must be performed.
This one-time procedure allows direct and quick access to the ECU, with no further steps required.

OBD compatibility now extended to the following Iveco Daily models:

• 2.3 FPT
• 3.0 FPT

In addition, OBD support is now extended to 3rd generation models with 2.8 Sofim turbo-diesel engines, further increasing compatibility with vehicles still in circulation.
