The Powergate App is the application designed to use Powergate directly from your smartphone. It is extremely intuitive and accessible on Google Play, App Store, and Huawei AppGallery. Its main goal is to simplify the procedure for Users as much as possible, from initial registration to association with the tool, up to reprogramming.
After downloading the app, you are immediately introduced to the Powergate world. Just create a profile with your ALIEN_id to associate the tool with your smartphone and start a reprogramming session. In addition to guided control of operations, the Powergate app also offers a dedicated User section where you can customize your settings, such as language or profile details. Additionally, remote support is always available, ensuring you never feel alone.
The Dashboard is the control panel for your Powergate, bolstered by cloud functionality and created specifically for you. It is organised into sections, each with specific functionalities to improve the user experience.
Sessions: Track in real-time the status and number of active, archived, or ongoing sessions on the associated Powergates.
Tools: Allows for the management and independent modification of the associated Powergates.
Templates: Allow the Powergate Manager to assign a Powergate to each User, including the customised skin, compatible vehicles, and their original and modified files, which can be linked via Cloud or manual mode.
User Profile: Allows upload of user profiles, managing the list of associated vehicles, customising it, or limiting it, if necessary, down to a single vehicle.
Status Bar: The status bar on the Powergate Dashboard is the real-time session monitoring tool for all operations carried out by the User and the tool.
Powergate Cloud: simplifies file management by providing an online database for storing details of modified files and their associations with original files. It offers extensive storage, allowing multiple users to access shared files and benefit from single modifications.
With automatic file associations, the Cloud matches modified files with originals from the Alientech Database, enabling users to receive updates automatically, saving time and reducing effort.
Connecting to the Vehicle: Plug the Powergate into the vehicle’s OBD port and wait for the LED strip to turn BLUE. Use the Powergate App on your smartphone with your ALIEN_id profile to access Alientech services.
